Unfortunately the constant fan option for the AC was disabled, which is a problem for me. We stayed 1 night before our 7 am flight.
The price was more reasonable than others in the area, so this should be a consideration when making your hotel choice. Overall, the hotel was perfectly adequate but not anything special. Very oddly, the bathroom door would not stay open, which was most irritating. The wall around the shower was raised, most likely from being waterlogged at one time. There was a chunk missing from the carpet at the door, so it was loose and frayed in that spot. There was definite wear on the furniture the vinyl on the seat of the desk chair was worn right through to the fabric backing. The room itself was pleasant enough, but it was dated and a bit run-down. This was disappointing, but the timing of this maintenance was understandable after a weekend of probably heavy use. When we went on a Monday morning, the spa was out of service because it was being refilled and chemicals replaced. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, which is a definite plus. It is VERY convenient to the interstate, and the trip to downtown is short and fairly direct. It is a very attractive building on its exterior and boasts a really beautiful lobby. Our Wingtips Bar and Bistro is onsite, so feel free to catch up over a drink or meal downstairs.This HI had several things going for it.
